“I am delighted to welcome such a talented colleague, and I am excited to see the growth in our teknovation brand and market reach,” said Marty Brown, PYA President and Chief Executive Officer. The online, ad-free, paid-subscription free platform covering business news in Middle and East Tennessee as well as throughout the southeast was launched on January 23, 2012. It has a specific focus on entrepreneurial activity, innovation, and business investment.

Keenehan will fill a role previously held by Shannon Smith who will be focusing her efforts as a member of PYA’s Marketing Team, something that has been a growing part of her work since joining the firm in August 2022.

A graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication, Keenehan won a number of awards during her college days. She also worked for KPNX-TV, Arizona Public Broadcasting, PBS NewsHour West Bureau, and the Arizona Republic newspaper.
