Stories of Technology, Innovation, & Entrepreneurship in the Southeast

Vol-founded or Vol-led businesses are making waves across the country, and 40 of them were honored at the inaugural Rocky Top Business Awards Friday.

The event, held by the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) Alumni Association with partner PYA, recognized the 40 fastest-growing alumni-run and founded businesses across the country.

The awards honor UTK’s vast network of business leaders and entrepreneurs, bringing together a like-minded group to share experiences and insights.

“Rocky Top Business Awards will build a network of entrepreneurs that grows year after year,” said Chip Bryant, Vice Chancellor for Advancement. “As well as recognizing deserving Vol businesses, we hope to encourage a community where these leaders can share their experience and lessons learned.”
