UT Health Science Center gets EDA grant for park master plan
The University of Tennessee’s Health Science Center in Memphis is one of 12 recipients sharing about $5 million in funding from the U.S. Economic Development Administration. The monies are part of the 2014 “Science and Research Park Development Grants” that are used for feasibility and planning for the construction or renovation of science or research parks. It’s also worth noting the plans of another winner – the Georgia Institute of Technology. Its plans involve a feasibility study to expand a health and biosciences district. Click here to see those plans.
