UGA’s Innovation Gateway start-up initiative reports more than $530 million in annual economic impact
The University of Georgia has reported that its start-up program generates more than one-half a billion dollars annually. Companies created through Innovation Gateway, the university’s arm for research commercialization, have an economic impact of $531 million across the United States, including $322 million in the state of Georgia.
