TSM Metal Works brings 20 jobs, $500,000 investment into Cumberland Co.

Since 2020, TNECD has supported nearly 30 economic development projects in the Upper Cumberland region, resulting in approximately 2,800 job commitments and $870 million in capital investment.

Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart McWhorter, and officials from TSM Metal Works announced today that the company will expand its operations by establishing a new facility in the Upper Cumberland region.

TSM Metal Works will invest $500,000 in the new project, which is expected to create 20 jobs in Cumberland County. This expansion marks TSM’s first venture outside its home state of California.

Upon completion, the new TSM facility in Crossville will encompass 30,000 square feet and serve the company’s metal fabrication customers both locally and nationwide. TSM Metal Works, a family-owned enterprise established in 2023, provides full-service metal fabrication and powder coating for a variety of industries, including construction, agriculture, and equipment manufacturing.

“TSM is a family-owned business that we are proud to have in the Volunteer State. I thank this company for its commitment to supporting families across the Upper Cumberland with these 20 new jobs. Tennessee’s strong business climate, central location, and highly skilled workforce will offer TSM much-continued success,” Lee said.

Mark Thibodeau, general manager of TSM Metal Works, expressed the company’s excitement about the new facility.

“TSM is very excited about the new facility and opportunity that Cumberland County and the State of Tennessee offers. TSM is confident that the company will thrive and offer many jobs over the coming years to many families across the region,” Thibodeau said. He also thanked local and state officials for their support throughout the process.

Since 2020, the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) has supported nearly 30 economic development projects in the Upper Cumberland region, resulting in approximately 2,800 job commitments and $870 million in capital investment. The addition of TSM Metal Works is anticipated to further bolster the region’s economic landscape.
