Time to get your incubator or accelerator ranked as one of America’s best

It's a three-step process that ends in late March ahead of the final rankings.

Fortune magazine is partnering with Statista, the Hamburg, Germany-based data and business intelligence platform, for a new ranking — America’s Top Incubators and Accelerators.

The programs considered for this list provide essential resources such as mentorship, funding, and networking opportunities, and they help start-ups scale quickly. These enterprises also offer structured support and industry expertise, which may increase a start-up’s chances of long-term success.

Research for the list will be gathered in three stages.

  1. In the first step, in addition to outreach by Statista, incubators and accelerators are encouraged to register themselves and disclose key information about the programs they offer. This stage needs to be completed by January 31, 2025.
  2. After registration, the incubators and accelerators will receive a unique link via email that can be shared with their alumni. The participation phase for the alumni will end on March 20, 2025.
  3. In addition, recommendations are gathered from external experts including investors, experienced entrepreneurs, and academics. They can participate before March 20, 2025.
