Sixth annual ‘Let Her Speak Women’s Summit’ on waitlist after just three days!

The Founder of Let Her Speak, Catherine Porth, hosts an annual conference to gather like-minded women from across the region.

The already-sold-out Let Her Speak Annual Women’s Summit has been a cornerstone of the organization’s work and mission since its founding in 2017. Catherine Porth, the Founder of the now-national organization pointed back to the conference as the dynamic launch point for her non-profit.

As covered in our teknovation.biz article in August of 2024, Porth originally wanted to gather women in the community to discuss opportunities for women in business, professional development, and visions for the future. Through the help of the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center (KEC), Porth hosted her first “Let Her Speak Women’s Summit” in 2018. Since then, it has blossomed into a whole community under the umbrella of “Let Her Speak,” containing programming like the flagship “Let Her Lead” program, alongside “Let Her Invest,” “Let Her Vote,” and “Let Her Laugh” event sessions.

For nearly six years, she operated the organization under the fiscal sponsorship of KEC. However, in March 2024, Porth decided it was time for Let Her Speak to expand into its organization and filed for 501(c)(3) status. Since then, she’s been working to put the non-profit on a national stage, so women everywhere can benefit.

For the 2025 Women’s Summit, Porth has an exciting lineup of speakers, break out sessions, and workshops. She plans to welcome 100 attendees, 12 speakers, and eight breakout facilitators, according to the event page. Within three days of opening tickets, the event sold out. It’s a testimony to the impact “Let her Speak” has made on the community over the past few years.

The featured speakers for the event will be Kristy DuBose of the Koinonia Foundation, Chania Arnold of Girl Talk Inc, Orel Brodt of Alliance Sotheby’s International Realty, Caitlin Bolden of the Knoxville Opera, Jessica Carr of Girls Gotta Eat Good Asian Bakery, Leslie Smith at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Latonya Clark and Lorena Meza Hubbard from the YWCA Knoxville and the TN Valley, Maddey Puckett from Fidelity Investments, Eva Kyle from The Muse Knoxville, Elisa Trentham from Sherwood Media, and Kryshonna Fair from Urz Professional.
