The JumpFund celebrates growth in ranks of female angels, makes several other announcements
The latest issue of The JumpFund’s newsletter notes that a recent article appearing in Golden Seeds documents “a very positive trend in the angel investing world – there are now more active female angel investors than ever before. The recently posted article says the number of female angels in the U.S. has increased to nearly 100,000 in the United States.
In other news from the Chattanooga-based fund that invests in women-led companies, The JumpFund:
- Added two new portfolio companies – EnrichHER, a lending platform that connects revenue generating women-led businesses, and Motivo that connects new therapists with experienced supervisors from the beginning to the end of the clinical supervision process; and
- Hired Shannon Lowe, a former CPA with Burkhart & Company in Knoxville and Ernst & Young in Winston-Salem, NC, as its new Fund Administrator.
