The Company Lab launches CO.INNOVATE program

It is designed for established organizations, empowering employees to act as intrapreneurs, transforming creative ideas into measurable outcomes.

The Company Lab (CO.LAB), a Chattanooga-based leader in entrepreneurial development for more than 15 years, has announced the launch of CO.INNOVATE, a tested and proven program designed to unlock innovation within established organizations.

CO.INNOVATE empowers employees to act as intrapreneurs, transforming creative ideas into measurable outcomes that drive growth, improve efficiencies, and boost employee engagement.

“Innovation doesnʼt just happen in startups; it thrives within organizations ready to harness their internal talent,” said Tasia Malakasis, CO.LAB’s Chief Executive Officer. “CO.INNOVATE gives companies the tools, coaching, and frameworks to foster a culture of agility and innovation from within.”

The program offers two tailored paths:

  1. DEFINE: For organizations building innovation processes from scratch, this track guides teams from idea generation to project refinement.
  2. REFINE: For organizations with existing innovation frameworks, this track enhances clarity, scalability, and impact, culminating in a showcase event for pitching ideas.

CO.INNOVATE is designed for organizations ready to lead in their industries by tapping into their most valuable resource—their people. From crafting new products to streamlining operations, this program delivers measurable outcomes and sustainable growth.

“CO.LABʼs corporate intrapreneurship program helped our innovators refine their business models and frame their pitches around clear problem and solution statements,” said Miles Biggs, Ecosystems Manager of Tennessee Valley Authority, the first customer of CO.INNOVATE. “We look forward to working with them again this year.”

With CO.INNOVATE, companies will:

  1. Identify and cultivate the creative problem-solvers and innovators within their teams.
  2. Receive expert guidance in designing innovation pipelines that align with their business goals.
  3. Access cutting-edge tools and frameworks to facilitate idea development and implementation.
  4. Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
