Spotlight will be on nuclear energy next week in Nashville
It is the second annual "Tennessee Nuclear and Innovative Energy Day on the Hill."
The second annual “Tennessee Nuclear and Innovative Energy Day on the Hill” will occur next week in Nashville. It is an opportunity to showcase the Oak Ridge assets as well as the emphasis that is being placed on making Tennessee the national leader in new nuclear.
From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. CDT on April 9, representatives from the area will gather in Music City for an event that is designed to provide a forum for education, networking, and advocacy to promote the East Tennessee region’s leadership in the nuclear and energy innovation sectors, driving both policy and investment decisions that support future growth. Legislators have been invited to visit with energy professionals to learn about Oak Ridge’s contributions to nuclear energy and innovation.
The event will be held in Rooms 8C and 8D of the Cordell Hull Building, where legislative offices and hearing rooms are located.
