Society of Work celebrating 10 years of co-working in Chattanooga

The organization that now has two locations is in the midst of the celebration that culminates on September 22.

Society of Work, Chattanooga’s first co-working space, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with 10 special events leading up to the finale from 6 to 9 p.m. September 22.

The celebration started August 3 with a food truck popup in the parking lot of its newest location at 110 Somerville Avenue. Now, the organization has checked off four of the 10 events with the next one coming on August 21 with free co-working at both the Somerville Avenue and Edney Innovation Center locations.

Society of Work was launched in 2013 by Kelly Fitzgerald with space in what was then known as the First Tennessee Bank Building. It moved to the much larger location in the Edney Innovation Center in 2017. The new location on Chattanooga’s Northshore opened earlier this year.
