Semi-annual “Vol Court” program underway, second session is later today

The second session of the six-part “Vol Court Speaker Series & Pitch Competition” begins at 5:15 p.m. today in Room 203 of the Haslam Business Building at the University of Tennessee (UT), Knoxville.

Hosted by the Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the semi-annual offering is designed to to introduce participants to entrepreneurship and provide a starting point to help advance business ideas into reality. Tonight’s session, titled “Legal Structures for Start-ups,” will be taught by Haseeb Qureshi, Attorney and Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Morehous Legal Group PLLC.

The weekly series continues with three more topical sessions over the next three Wednesdays before the pitch competition on October 9. Room locations vary, so check the schedule here.
