Reeves, Benton hold FLC leadership positions
The Oak Ridge community is well-represented in top leadership positions with the Federal Laboratory Consortium (FLC).
- Mark Reeves of Oak Ridge National Laboratory is National Vice Chair; and
- Jeremy Benton of the Y-12 National Security Complex is Deputy Regional Coordinator in FLC’s Southeast Region.
The FLC is a nationwide organization representing about 300 federal laboratories and centers. It provides a forum to develop strategies and opportunities that link the technologies and expertise of labs with the marketplace.
The FLC was organized in 1974 and formally chartered by the Federal Technology Transfer Act of 1986 to promote and strengthen technology transfer nationwide.
