Poll finds Gen Zers are falling behind due to remote work
Is love or hate for remote work a generational divide?
In an article published on the website Wealth of Geeks, the author who goes by the name of Max Marvelous and has a LinkedIn profile examines a recent Harris Poll about another aspect of the remote work phenomenon for Gen Zers.
“Those who are in favor (of remote work) say it will help with work-life balance, save on commuting costs and a net benefit to the employee.” he writes. “The other side believes it will create a disconnected workforce and will diminish positive company culture.”
How does the Gen Z group feel?
“The poll shows that young workers found it difficult to make connections, receive feedback from superiors, and learn their way with company culture while encountering quiet and empty offices, ‘out of office’ managers, and few networking opportunities,” Marvelous writes.
