Plate to Profit: A new offering for East TN food business founders
The five-week course offered by Pathway Lending will guide food businesses through strategic business planning, financial management, operations, marketing and branding, and growth strategies.
Pathway Lending has launched a new program aimed at supporting, equipping, and leveling up food business owners in East Tennessee.
The hands-on program is led by expert facilitators who will dive into strategic business planning, financial management, operations, marketing and branding, and growth strategies.
Each food business will get a personalized assessment and a growth plan tailored to specific business goals. It will also open doors to new connections within the food entrepreneur community. Additionally, participants will be connected in a post-program community group.
The instructor for the program is Jim Klonaris, who has more than 40 years of experience in the entrepreneurial food business space. Klonaris is the driving force behind several award-winning restaurants and event venues such as Kefi, Bella, Café 4, Vida, The Vault, and The Press Room.
Klonaris is also known for delivering remarkable customer experiences. His career also includes corporate roles at Coca-Cola and Franklin Covey, where he developed his expertise in sales, training, and public speaking.
According to Pathway, Klonaris’ comprehensive approach to business covers everything from conceptual design and property development to marketing and customer relations. A true servant leader, he channels his extensive experience into actionable strategies that help aspiring entrepreneurs succeed.
The course will start next Tuesday, February 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. It will run every Tuesday after at the same time through March 25.
