NGA Founder Ed Meek has big plans for organization
Ed Meek, Founder and President of the National Graphene Association (NGA), has some big plans for the six-month old organization that held its inaugural “National Graphene Summit & Expo” this week in Nashville.
“I’m not a scientist,” he told attendees. “I’m an opportunist. We see the potential of graphene, and we plan to seize every opportunity.”
In addition to what will likely become an annual event with the Summit, Meek said the non-profit has several other initiatives planned. They include:
- Creating the American Graphene Institute;
- Hosting the first-ever “Global Graphene Expo” in May in Las Vegas; and
- Establishing a Graphene Venture Fund.
