Need a tool to assess team collaboration?
LeaderView might just be the answer you are seeking.
LeaderView is a new tool from The Diversity Movement (TDM) in Research Triangle Park that examines team strengths and gaps across seven core competencies: communication, collaboration, capability, growth mindset, cultural intelligence, reliability, and self-awareness.
According to TDM, identifying these areas enables teams to become tightly integrated and high-performing units. Donald Thompson, the organization’s Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, describes the assessment tool in more detail in a recent column for WRAL TechWire.
“As each (TDM) team member grappled with ideas and inputs from a variety of viewpoints, including external partners, what I saw firsthand was the real benefit of their full collaboration,” Thompson wrote. “The lived experiences and background (ranging from digital learning and content experts to MBAs and PhDs) of each team member played a key role in fostering innovation.”
He believes the tool could help in many ways such as: (1) promoting inclusive decision-making; (2) embrace diverse perspectives; (3) modelling vulnerabilities; and (4) building authentic communication and healthy conflict.
