NC State seeking new zoning for major changes at its Centennial Campus
It’s already an icon among university-based research parks and, if leaders at North Carolina State University (NCSU) have their way, it will become even more well-known.
We’re talking about NCSU’s Centennial Campus where plans are underway to seek approval for new zoning from the City of Raleigh that would lead to a vastly different area. It would include towers up to 28 stories that would dwarf existing buildings and also lead to a more density of people and office space.
WRAL TechWire has a lengthy article on the new vision for the roughly 30-year old, 1000-acre campus. There’s also a website summarizing the plans that can be found at this link.
