KTech hosting panel discussion next week on quantum technologies

The Knoxville Technology Council is hosting a program titled “Quantum: Timing Is Everything” next week as part of Innov865 Week.
The event on October 2 from 4 to 6 p.m. EDT at River & Rail Theatre, 111 State Street, will feature a panel of quantum technology experts and users in sensing, networking, and computing. They’ll discuss the critical business and technical considerations needed to prepare for and leverage a quantum-ready state. The panelists include:
- Jason Porter, Cybersecurity Consultant;
- Kirk McLemore who works in Business Development at EPB Quantum Network in Chattanooga; and
- Dr. Muneer Alshowkan, Research Scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
