“InvestTN” grows its portfolio to 31 companies as 2024 ends
Nine added near the end of the year.
Launch Tennessee reported that, at year’s end, its portfolio of investments from “InvestTN” – the $70 million fund created through the Volunteer State’s allocation from the State Small Business Credit Initiative – has grown to 31 companies.
There were nine new investments near the end of 2024 including:
- Branch Technologies of Chattanooga which creates beauty through its robust software and robotics tech stack featuring its patented 3D-printing technology, which enables solutions in a variety of industries.
- Bugle, the Nashville-based volunteer management platform that is changing the world of volunteering and increasing transparency in charitable giving.
- Couture Technologies of Gallatin which provides artificial intelligence (AI)-powered solutions that empower apparel brands to provide personalized customer experiences, including a virtual try-on experience, a body measurement service, an interactive lookbook, and 3D product visualizations at scale.
- MedHaul, the Memphis-based digital platform that connects local healthcare providers with local, reliable transport services by streamlining ride scheduling, reducing administrative tasks and missed appointments, and improving access to essential care.
- Metamorphix Inc., located in Collierville, that helps school leaders identify and address student mental health, behavior, and academic risks sooner and continuously using Cascades, a whole child platform aligned to the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework.
- Shappi, the Chattanooga-based company that is the first travelogistics firm with an AI-powered solution for international shipping. Shappi empowers Latin American consumers to obtain delivery of their international products in a faster, affordable, and more reliable way via Verified Travelers.
- Third Person of Nashville that is developing an AI-based platform that enables brands to discover and engage with their complete stack of supply chain partners. Think of it like Nerd Wallet for logistics.
- Unified Track, the Knoxville-based company that transforms the educational landscape for counselors, students, and their families by leveraging AI-driven predictive analytics for goal-setting and deploying a sophisticated early warning system.
- The Whitecoat Learning Platform, a Franklin-based business that streamlines healthcare education with a single, simple, digital platform.
