“InvestTN” grows its portfolio to 31 companies as 2024 ends

Nine added near the end of the year.

Launch Tennessee reported that, at year’s end, its portfolio of investments from “InvestTN” – the $70 million fund created through the Volunteer State’s allocation from the State Small Business Credit Initiative – has grown to 31 companies.

There were nine new investments near the end of 2024 including:

  1. Branch Technologies of Chattanooga which creates beauty through its robust software and robotics tech stack featuring its patented 3D-printing technology, which enables solutions in a variety of industries.
  2. Bugle, the Nashville-based volunteer management platform that is changing the world of volunteering and increasing transparency in charitable giving.
  3. Couture Technologies of Gallatin which provides artificial intelligence (AI)-powered solutions that empower apparel brands to provide personalized customer experiences, including a virtual try-on experience, a body measurement service, an interactive lookbook, and 3D product visualizations at scale.
  4. MedHaul, the Memphis-based digital platform that connects local healthcare providers with local, reliable transport services by streamlining ride scheduling, reducing administrative tasks and missed appointments, and improving access to essential care.
  5. Metamorphix Inc., located in Collierville, that helps school leaders identify and address student mental health, behavior, and academic risks sooner and continuously using Cascades, a whole child platform aligned to the  Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework.
  6. Shappi, the Chattanooga-based company that is the first travelogistics firm with an AI-powered solution for international shipping. Shappi empowers Latin American consumers to obtain delivery of their international products in a faster, affordable, and more reliable way via Verified Travelers.
  7. Third Person of Nashville that is developing an AI-based platform that enables brands to discover and engage with their complete stack of supply chain partners. Think of it like Nerd Wallet for logistics.
