“InvestTN” announces seven new investments

Five of the seven call Nashville or a neighboring city home; the other two are based in Knoxville and Memphis.

After making its first investment in November and 11 investments in the first quarter of 2024, Launch Tennessee has announced seven additional portfolio companies for the $70-million “InvestTN” fund that it manages for the State of Tennessee.

Five of the seven are in Nashville or neighboring Franklin. One calls Knoxville home, and the seventh is based in Memphis. In alphabetical order, the new investees are:

  • AnyCreek, a Memphis-based leading online resource and marketplace for outdoor guided experiences. Trusted by world-class guides, AnyCreek streamlines the back office need of outdoor guides to help them save time, make more money, and improve their overall customer booking experience. As noted in this article from last Friday, the company raised a $1.8 million seed round.
  • Nisolo, a sustainably-minded lifestyle brand located in Nashville and focused on providing customers with footwear and accessories featuring timeless design, next-level comfort, and everyday function. In addition to its high-quality products, Nisolo is known for its Sustainability Facts Label and positioning as an innovative B Corp, Climate Neutral, and Leather Working Group Certified company.
  • One of None also calls Nashville home. It is an end-to-end authentication service that enables creators to eliminate counterfeits, receive royalties on resale transactions, and strengthen their connection to their collectors.
  • Knoxville-based Orion Therapeutics develops next-generation Ribonucleic acid (RNA) medicines using its proprietary, multifunctional Orion SpikeTM lipid nanoparticle (LNP) drug delivery system, which enables efficient and safe delivery of RNA payloads to target cells anywhere in the body.
  • Oversite is a Franklin-based digital platform that revolutionizes the infrastructure construction management landscape, optimizing efficiency and collaboration for CEI inspectors and contractors. By modernizing a traditionally paper-bound process, Oversite provides solutions for a market that has been neglected by existing construction project management platforms.
  • SoBet, located in Nashville, is a premium platform that helps sports bettors make more informed decisions by curating betting experts, delivering exclusive insights, and fostering a community to increase fan engagement. SoBet believes that short-form entertainment can streamline high-quality betting information to create a healthier betting ecosystem for next-gen users and content creators.
  • SpendCare is another Franklin-based company focused, as its name implies, on a spend management program designed exclusively for home care agencies to protect their clients, their caregivers, and their company from financial misuse and misunderstandings. This comprehensive program mitigates risk and generates new revenue for home care providers.
