Inc. 5000 winners praise clients, customers and employees for accomplishment
By Tom Ballard, Chief Alliance Officer, PYA
As you might imagine, comments from those companies that made the 2022 Inc. Magazine ranking of the 5000 fastest growing privately held companies in the U.S. were positive and grateful. Some had already notified us of their ranking, and we contacted others to get their reaction. We also looked for posts on social media.
Here are some of their comments.
- “We’ve spent the last few years since launch helping established companies and younger high-growth businesses tell their story, and ultimately make it onto business lists such as this,” said Dylan Jones, Managing Partner at Boldsquare. “For Boldsquare itself to now be recognized in this way is a testament to the work we’ve done, and to the clients who have trusted us to do it.”
- “I am very proud that BGS has made the list of America’s 5000 fastest growing companies four years in a row,” said Harry Boston, President of Oak Ridge-headquartered Boston Government Services LLC. “Recognizing that our team has done this while supporting vital missions in the federal and energy sectors is especially gratifying. We are continually working to enhance our capabilities and value.”
- “Making the Inc 5000 list once is a huge accomplishment for any company,” said Abhijit Verekar, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Avèro Advisors in Maryville. “To have made it two years in a row makes me incredibly proud of my team, and thankful for our clients and families. As a fairly new, local company with a national footprint, this accolade puts us on the map as we seek greater heights and growth. The Greater Knoxville region is a hotbed of entrepreneurial activity, and I can’t wait to see what we do together in the future.”
- “Earning a position on the 5000 for the third consecutive year showcases the culture of perseverance and dedication instilled by our leadership,” says Geoff Yearack, President and Co-Founder of RCN Technologies. “Our ‘expect more’ philosophy has and will continue to enable us to deliver a “wow” experience for our partners and customers. I expect our foundation of exceptional service and innovation in the market to generate even more success for RCN in the coming years.”
- “For the company, the 5000 recognition is a testament to the love, sweat, and tears we’ve poured into the journey thus far,” said Tommy Nguyen, Co-Founder of StoragePug. “For our team, it’s an indicator that the self storage industry has a need for what we bring to the table. It’s nice to acknowledge the new vantage point, but we’re ready to get back to the grindstone. To think we’ve reached this milestone at just 2% market share is bonkers! But what’s really exciting is how much potential we have to unlock as we continue to take care of people and build helpful tools for self storage.”
- “Throughout the past couple of tumultuous years, we’ve done everything we can at WorkHound to be the best partner possible to our clients, helping them glean valuable workforce feedback so they can leverage those insights into business wins” said Max Farrell, the company’s Chief Executive Officer. “This is a win for our whole team.”
- On its LinkedIn page, Axle Logistics posted this message: “We are extremely excited to announce that Axle Logistics has made the Inc. Magazine list for the 7th year in a row. This year we ranked No. 1,207 with a three-year revenue growth of 537 percent. We are so thankful for our dedicated team and the trusted partnerships we have with our shippers and carries. We could not have accomplished this without you all.”
- “We are thrilled to be #1 in Chattanooga and #7 in Tennessee on Inc. Magazine list of the 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies in the U.S.,” Steam Logistics posted on its LinkedIn site. “We’ve experienced a whirlwind 1,177 percent growth in the past year! Making this list six years in a row is a testament to all of our incredible team members and customers. Thank you so much for making this possible and here’s to 2023!”
- “We are overjoyed to have earned a spot on the 5000 list of fastest growing private companies for the 2nd year in a row,” Network Transport posted on its LinkedIn page. “Our team placed as #1856 in the U.S. & #4 in Chattanooga, TN. This accomplishment is a huge testament to all our employees & the many successes they have made this year. The best is yet to come!
