Finalists named for next week’s “Start-up Pitch Competition”
Five start-ups will compete for an investment of $150,000 through the "InvestTN" program managed by Launch Tennessee.
Launch Tennessee announced Wednesday the five finalists that will vie for a $150,000 investment as part of next week’s “Start-up Pitch Competition” during the “3686 Entrepreneurial Festival.”
Hosted by “InvestTN,” the competition concludes the formal programming on September 20 before several networking events. The five finalists include three from Nashville and one each from Shelbyville and Memphis. They are:
- ATS Innovations of Shelbyville, inventor of the MetaFlex Therapy Glove (see recent teknovation.biz article here);
- Giggs of Nashville, a centralized hub where touring professionals, production companies, and other music industry professionals can connect, collaborate, and discover opportunities;
- Potluck, also of Nashville, is described as the next-generation party planning app that simplifies the process of figuring out who’s bringing what;
- SweetBio of Memphis offers a wound care including collagen and Manuka honey products; and
- VetVerifi of Nashville enables instant, verified proof of vaccination for pets, better connecting veterinarians with their pet care partners, from pet services to emergency to housing.
