Erica Grant one of 10 finalists in latest “Collegiate Inventors Competition”
There’s still more good news that came out last week for Erica Grant and Quantum Lock Technologies.
Coming on the heels of winning the “Innov865 Crowd Favorite Award” (see today’s feature article) in last week’s “Startup Day” pitch event in Knoxville and being one of the presenters in the “Raising + Rising” event during the week, Grant also learned that she is one of the 10 finalists in this year’s “Collegiate Inventors Competition®.”
Established in 1990, the event is a program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame and is sponsored by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and Arrow Electronics. The competition features five teams in each of two categories – undergraduate and graduate. Grant is a completing her doctoral work as part of the Bredesen Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Graduate Education at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
