Cox Enterprises partners with gener8tor on new cleantech accelerator

Program is accepting applications through mid-November. In-person program begins February 5.

Cox Enterprises is joining forces with the organization that has partnered with The Company Lab in Chattanooga on its mobility accelerator to launch a new program in Atlanta focused on cleantech.

Known as the Cox Cleantech Accelerator powered by gener8tor, the program was announced last week and previewed in this article in hypepotamus. The 12-week program will support five of the most promising cleantech start-ups that will receive a $100,000 investment each, tailored coaching, and mentorship from Cox business leaders. The participating entrepreneurs will also receive support in product development, customer acquisition, and fundraising.

The accelerator is designed to help start-up founders building in renewable energy, food and land use, sustainable transportation, waste reduction, and the built environment. In addition to Cox Enterprises, the accelerator will also collaborate with the Georgia Cleantech Innovation Hub, which launched last year to make the state a leading cleantech ecosystem.

Applications are being accepted through November 17 at this link. The program begins February 5, 2025 with no virtual option. In-person is required for the 12 weeks.
