Corporate Communications Resources merges with local field-services company

The merger is a milestone for both companies, now both able to provide end-to-end telecommunication services.

Corporate Communications Resources, LLC (CCR), a leading provider of telecommunications solutions since 1990, has successfully merged with Structured Wire Services (SWS), a Knoxville-based field services company renowned for its extensive expertise in IT, data/voice, cabling, and equipment dispatch services.

Now, the company will have more than 10,000 highly trained technicians across the country available for support within the structured wire services department. They can dispatch technicians on-site for service installations, programming, maintenance, diagnostics, and training for locations across the country on all aspects of IT, data/voice, cabling, and equipment.

Since its founding in 1996, SWS has built a solid reputation by rapidly expanding its network of highly trained technicians nationwide. Their comprehensive services include support for installations, programming, maintenance, diagnostics, cabling, and training. This merger aligns with CCR’s long-term goal of offering complete end-to-end telecom management solutions for businesses of all sizes.

“We are thrilled to merge Corporate Communications Resources, LLC with Structured Wire Services,” said Joanna McCarroll, Chief Executive Officer of CCR. “This decision was driven by our commitment to streamline the telecom and IT management process while maximizing clients’ savings potential.”

The merger represents a significant milestone for both companies, with no planned changes in leadership or management. Jessica Haston, Director of Marketing & Innovation at CCR, shared how the integration aims to enhance service offerings without impacting current clients or employees.

“We are excited to expand the services offered by CCR, ensuring outstanding end-to-end solutions for our existing and new clients. The merger will increase our number of technicians and broaden our offerings,” Haston said.

For more information about the merger, see the press release on the Knoxville Chamber’s website.
