Buc-ee’s Sevierville location opens May 2023
Here comes the beaver! The newest Buc-ee's location will bring 175 jobs, 120 gas pumps, and unlimited Beaver Nuggets to East Tennessee.
Hiring is underway for what will briefly be Buc-ee’s largest-ever location off I-40 Exit 407 in Sevier County, TN.
The Texas-based gas station and convenience store chain known for its clean bathrooms and cult following will open its second Tennessee location in May 2023 in Sevierville, less than a year after opening its store in Crossville.
All of the front-line positions are hiring and the job postings are now live on Buc-ee’s website. There will be a hiring event on a yet-to-be-determined date to fill the rest of the positions, which will total 175 new, permanent, full-time jobs. All jobs come with full benefits, 401k with 100 percent match up to 6 percent, three weeks of paid vacation, and pay starting well above minimum wage.
The Sevierville Buc-ee’s will briefly be the chain’s largest location, at 74,000 square feet with 120 fueling stations. Buc-ee’s new Luling, TX, location will be about 1,000 feet larger when it opens. That’s currently under construction and will open after Sevierville.
The Sevierville travel center will also feature a state-of-the-art car wash, which according to Buc-ee’s is a luxury in Texas as not all locations have them.
So if you’re craving beaver nuggets, it’ll only be a few more months before you can head down to Exit 407 and live your best Buc-ee’s life.
