Bruce Katz of the Brookings Institution is a fan of Chattanooga and the city’s Innovation District concept. In a recent post, he wrote: “A recent visit to Chattanooga, Tenn. convinces me that U.S. cities—particularly small and medium-sized ones—can take multiple paths to unleashing their distinct innovative economies.
