Bristol’s Micronic Technologies raises $3 million seed round
Richmond Inno reports that an Appalachian Highlands start-up has caught the eye of Richmond-area investors in the form of a $3 million investment.
Micronic Technologies, founded in 2008 in Bristol, VA by Karen Sorber and Kelly Rock, has raised a $3 million seed round that it will use to scale its industrial wastewater cleaning technology. The round was led by the Center for Innovative Technology and The Pearl Fund, with participation from CAV Angels.
