Here are some “News and Notes” about people in the entrepreneurial sector
We are going to do a better job in the future of posting notes about individuals in the entrepreneurial ecosystem who are being recognized or otherwise making news. Here’s the first edition of this periodic spotlight.
- Bill Peter, Director of Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Manufacturing Demonstration Facility, has been selected as a member of the 2020 College of SME (Society of Manufacturing Engineers) Fellows. We spotlighted the work of the MDF earlier this year in a multi-part series.
- Jackson Davis, a former Fellow at CO.LAB in Chattanooga and most recently an Associate at Solas BioVentures, is joining Bit Bio, a Cambridge, UK-based early stage synthetic biology and stem cell spinout of Cambridge University. He’ll be working in finance and strategy.
- Tiffany Nelson, a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Master of Business Administration in healthcare leadership, is the new Executive Director of the Georgia Rural Health Innovation Center in the Mercer University School of Medicine.
