Three East TN companies make Inc. Magazine’s “Best Workplaces 2021” list
Seven Tennessee companies made Inc. Magazine’s “Best Workplaces 2021” list, and three of them are headquartered in East Tennessee – one each in Chattanooga, Knoxville and Maryville.
They are:
- AVERO Advisors of Maryville, an information technology advisory firm that we spotlighted in April 2020 in this teknovation.biz article;
- Lirio which was founded in Knoxville, is a behavior change artificial intelligence platform, and was spotlighted most recently in this teknovation.biz article; and
- Skuid, the Chattanooga-based company that provides a toolkit for creating unique and adopted Salesforce experiences and introduced its latest offering as described in this teknovation.biz article from April.
In introducing the 429 winners, Inc. wrote: “A year ago, business leaders at companies big and small were grappling with the same question: ‘When will we return to the office?’ Many still don’t know, while others are wondering if they’ll even have an office to return to. Fortunately, one of the lessons of the COVID-19 crisis is that you don’t need a physical office to make your company a great place to work. What you do need are policies that support your employees and keep them engaged. Inc.’s ‘2021 Best Workplaces’ list recognizes the businesses that deliver on that promise – all 429 of them.”
In a separate announcement last week, Lirio named Amy Bucker as Vice President of Behavioral Design with responsibilities for leading the behavioral design team in the development of innovative, scalable approaches to behavior change. She joins Lirio from Mad*Pow, a technology user experience design agency, where she was the Vice President of Behavior Change Design.
