Katelyn is a journalist with five years of experience working in newsrooms in Tennessee (WBIR) and Arizona (KPNX). Throughout her career, she has received recognition from organizations like Hearst, NATAS, SPJ, and BEA for her digital and television reporting. She enjoys sharing stories through video and social media, especially those that highlight the achievements of others. Katelyn is excited to support Knoxville’s small businesses and entrepreneurial community as it continues to grow.
Katelyn joined the teknovation.biz team as Assistant Editor in the fall of 2023.
Outside of work, Katelyn enjoys staying active by playing soccer in a local league and training at a CrossFit gym. She also loves spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Benji and Ada. For the past two years, Katelyn has been a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee, which has been one of the most rewarding experiences in her life.
