The Knoxville Entrepreneur Center (KEC) opened applications this week for this year’s “The Works.” It is the ultimate start-up accelerator program tailored for early stage software technology and tech-enabled companies poised for rapid growth.
The Works is an eight-week intensive program designed to provide start-ups with unparalleled opportunities for growth, mentorship, and networking. With a focus on fostering innovation and scalability, The Works equips entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive in today’s competitive market landscape.
The Knoxville Entrepreneur Center has opened applications for the 2025 cohort. Through the program, founders will engage with industry leaders, seasoned mentors, and investors, gaining the tools and confidence they need to refine their business models, strengthen go-to-market strategies, and craft an investable pitch deck.
“The WORKS 2025 accelerator is designed for founders who are ready to move beyond theory and into execution. If you’re serious about growth, customer experience, and market impact, this is where you need to be,” said Abhijit (AV) Verekar, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Avero Advisors and THE WORKS Lead Growth Advisor.
He is joined by other mentors including: Haseeb Qureshi, Lead Insight Advisor; Patrick Hunt, Lead Strategy Advisor; Martha Weeks, Lead Communication Advisor; Brandon Bruce, Lead Capital Advisor; and Chris McAdoo, Lead Facilitator.
