Deadline looming for applications to participate in agriculture accelerator
(EDITOR’S NOTE: The application deadline to participate in the West Tennessee-based agriculture accelerator is rapidly approaching. Here’s an excerpt from the most recent edition of “BioNotes” from the Memphis Bioworks Foundation.)
Applications are being accepted now through July 17 for an agriculture innovation business accelerator, led by a partnership between The Northwest Tennessee Entrepreneur Center and Memphis Bioworks Foundation, and intended to start and grow new agricultural businesses. Through a competitive application process, up to eight companies will be selected to matriculate through an intensive, cohort-based, six-month program of business instruction and mentorship to guide their development. At the conclusion of the program, the participants will pitch their business plans to a group of investors.
Applications for the accelerator are available now and will be accepted through July 17. For more information or to receive an application, please contact Carol Reed at 731-587-4213 or carol.reed@nwtdd.org. The full news release about the program is here.
This project is funded under an agreement with Launch Tennessee and/or the State of Tennessee.
