Introduction Knox accepting applicants for upcoming cohorts
Are you a rising leader looking to get acquainted with the inner workings of Knoxville?
“Introduction Knoxville” is looking for members to join the upcoming fall, winter, and summer classes. It is the precursor to attending Leadership Knoxville, which is targeted at supporting the city’s leaders across a spectrum of ages, levels, and sectors.
The program was founded in 1984 as a way to help connect community leaders and build business relationships across sectors. Program leaders pride the program on its values of service, accountability, excellence, integrity, diversity, and inclusiveness. Intro Knox was founded in 1993 and plays a key role in connecting leaders in new management positions, newcomers, and even life-long Knoxvillians to the vast industries and experiences the city has to offer.
The program runs for six weeks – and is offered in the winter, spring, and summer with about 50 participants per cohort.
Individuals get exposure to local leaders, issues and opportunities to get involved, as well as inspiration through learning about Knoxville’s history and current landscape. Participants can foster new friendships, ideas, networks, and perspectives from a diverse group of people within our community.
Organizations can offer Intro Knox to employees as a unique way to enhance operational training and a way to recognize and reward top talent.
