Take “A Seat at The Table”
The inaugural public event from a group known as Thought Leaders in Action invites business leaders and entrepreneurs to come together on April 4 in Knoxville.
An ad hoc group of seasoned business leaders in Knoxville known as Thought Leaders in Action (TLIA) has announced its first public event.
Scheduled for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. EDT on April 4 at the Knoxville Chamber, the two-hour event is designed for everyone from seasoned entrepreneurs to those who are thinking about jumping into the start-up arena. “Our primary goal is inclusivity,” says Bill Malkes, TLIA’s organizer and leader. It is an opportunity for local entrepreneurs to connect with the business community and potential mentors who can help them through their journey.
The event is titled “A Seat at The Table,” and the name suggests the emphasis on ensuring that “everyone’s voice is heard and valued for everyone,” Malkes says. “We want to ensure no one misses this chance to connect and grow.”
