“Age Innovation Pitch Event” coming to Music City next month

It is a collaboration between the Nashville Chapter of Aging2.0 and the Music City Chapter of Community Equity Partners.

In about a month, the inaugural “Age Innovate Pitch Event: Shaping Tomorrow’s Senior Living Landscape” will be held at The Standard in Nashville. It is a collaboration between the Nashville Chapter of Aging2.0, an organization that strives to accelerate innovation to address the biggest challenges and opportunities related to aging, and the Music City Chapter of Community Equity Partners (CEP).

Scheduled for 4 to 7 p.m. CST on March 5, the event is being billed as “a dynamic showcase of cutting-edge ideas and groundbreaking innovations tailored to enhance the lives of our aging population. Entrepreneurs, visionaries, and thought leaders from TN and the Southeast region will converge to present their revolutionary solutions addressing the unique challenges and opportunities within the aging sector. This pitch event is not just about ideas; it’s about creating meaningful connections. Engage with industry leaders, investors, and fellow innovators during networking sessions. Forge partnerships that will propel your innovations to new heights.”

We asked Eric Dobson, CEP’s Managing Partner, to explain how two seemingly dissimilar organizations came together around the event.

“Their Nashville Chapter and our Nashville Chapter met through Sheltowee last fall and agreed to collaborate,” he said. “We are providing the venue, cash investment, and all the deal logistics. They are providing sponsors and PR (public relations). We expect to pitch the top three companies after a standard venture capital screening and diligence process. This is the inaugural, but hopefully not the last.”

For those wanting to simply attend the event, seating is limited.
