PYA’s Tina Collins elected to NAEA Board of Directors

The National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) stands as the nation's premier community for tax practitioners.

In a momentous achievement for PYA, the power behind teknovation.biz, Tax Principal Tina Collins has been elected to serve on the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) board of directors. The announcement came right before Christmas, marking a significant milestone in Collins’ career and highlighting the firm’s commitment to excellence in the tax profession.

Known for her expertise and dedication to tax practice, Collins will join the NAEA board and represent one of 10 board members chosen to advocate for the interests of nearly 15,000 enrolled agents across the United States.

The NAEA stands as the nation’s premier community for tax practitioners, with a specific focus on promoting Enrolled Agents and enhancing their professional standing.

Enrolled Agents hold a unique credential within the tax profession, granting them the highest level of authorization to represent taxpayers in front of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This distinction underscores the significance of Collins’ election to the NAEA board, as she will play a vital role in shaping the policies and initiatives that affect tax practitioners nationwide.

The NAEA provides invaluable support to its members, offering publications, data, information, training, and professional development opportunities. The organization is also a staunch advocate for Enrolled Agents, who actively engage in congressional meetings. They may also provide testimony to address issues related to tax practice and compliance.

PYA, a leading firm in the field, is extremely proud of Collins’ accomplishment.

“We want to offer Tina special congratulations for achieving this high honor, particularly considering the months-long nomination and election process.  We are very proud of her and this wonderful accomplishment,” the firm said.

As she assumes her role on the NAEA board, Collins is well-positioned to contribute to the advancement of Enrolled Agents and the broader tax community across the United States.
