Applications are now open for the Real Good Foundation’s (RGF) first-ever “Food Business Incubator Program.” Designed for aspiring or early stage food business owners committed to growth, the first cohort will be comprised of up to three businesses that will be selected to move into guided business incubation with intensive support over six months, beginning in January 2024 and using Real Good Kitchen’s facility.

Eligibility criteria include businesses that are: (1) based in East Knoxville; (2) owned by those from an underserved or marginalized group; and (3) have successfully completed RGF’s Food Business Bootcamp Program (or can demonstrate an understanding of basic business fundamentals.

Launch Tennessee has scheduled an “Ask Me Anything” virtual session for its InvestTN Regional Seed Fund on Thursday, December 7, beginning at 9 a.m. CST. During the 60-minute session, early stage start-up founders and Chief Executive Officers will learn more about the Regional Seed Fund, which invests $25,000 to $250,000 into pre-seed and seed stage start-ups located in Tennessee.⁠ It will provide an opportunity to ask specific questions and learn how to apply for funding.⁠ To register, click here.
