How to network right after you pitch
There are four suggestions for maximizing opportunities that the presentation might have stimulated.
The late summer/early fall time period brings with it a variety of pitch events including “Startup Day” in Knoxville, the “3686 Entrepreneurship Festival” in Nashville, and the twice-a-year “Vol Court Speaker Series & Pitch Competition.”
After those events, there are networking opportunities for those who pitch to connect with individuals who might be potential investors and offer other types of support. With those opportunities in mind, Babson College, which has held the #1 entrepreneurship ranking for both its undergraduate and MBA programs for more than two decades, has listed four networking tips for entrepreneurs after a pitch.
