More than 45 FREE business resources available for TN-based entrepreneurs
Cookeville-based Arvo developed the templates and other resources with funding from Launch Tennessee's Community Partner Program.
Alane Boyd is Co-Founder of Arvo, a Cookeville-based company that we have previously spotlighted in teknovation.biz including this article from March 2022. Readers may also recall her name from two years earlier when Boyd took a start-up named BurgerFit through the 2020 edition of the “AgLaunch Bootcamp.”
In a recent blog post for The Biz Foundry, she writes: “As a business owner, you’re likely always on the lookout for entrepreneur resources. Why? Because starting a business and growing it comes with a lot of challenges and finding more time in your day so you can get more done is always at the top of the wish list.”
Thanks to financial support from Launch Tennessee‘s Community Partner Program, Boyd and Micah Johnson, her husband and business partner at Arvo, have launched something named the Resources and Templates for TN Entrepreneurs. It is, as its name implies, a resource that is completely free for any Tennessee-based company to use. The library has more than 45 business-related templates and resources, such as work-from-home policies, sales proposals, and job offer templates. The couples also partnered with other Tennessee companies like Pathway Lending to host resources around getting small business loans.
The Arvo team notes that it made using the library and the templates a breeze and created a playbook for getting started. In the playbook, users will find:
- A 30-minute video on using the resources in the library;
- A quick-start guide on using Arvo; and
- A scheduling calendar for a free 1:1 call with Arvo to create a resource together with one of the firm’s experts.
