First class from Appalachian Coding Collective begins next week

FoundersForge, a regional non-profit entrepreneur center dedicated to supporting underdog entrepreneurs, has announced the launch of the Appalachian Coding Collective. Supported by a Rural Development Grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the initiative brings together key partners to offer affordable software development education to individuals needing access to these opportunities.
The demand for tech-centric talent is skyrocketing as the world witnesses an unprecedented surge in Artificial Intelligence and automation tools, and the Appalachian Coding Collective aims to ensure Northeast Tennessee meets these future demands, fostering regional growth and prosperity.
The collaborative effort involving multiple organizations will be offering classes designed to expose attendees to various software development concepts with no prior experience necessary. A strong interest in technology is recommended, and classes are provided at $99 per course. Scholarships are available to ensure these courses are accessible to those with economic constraints.
