Deep tech CEO coming to Knoxville to keynote “Industries of the Future Summit”
Jack Cheng, Chief Executive Officer of the MIH Consortium and Foxconn, has more than 40 years experience being a pioneer in both traditional automotive and new energy vehicles.
Jack Cheng, Chief Executive Officer of the MIH Consortium and Foxconn, has been announced as the keynote speaker for the “Industries of the Future Summit powered by Techstars” that will be held June 21 in Knoxville.
MIH, which stands for Mobility in Harmony, is creating an open electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem that promotes collaboration in the mobility industry. The consortium’s overall goal is to bring strategic partners together to build the next generation of EV, autonomous driving, and mobility service applications. To do so, MIH has launched the Open EV Alliance to promote collaboration in the mobility industry to achieve its mission. The Consortium and its Alliance members will create an open EV platform together, through the realization of reference designs and standardization of EV technologies.
Cheng is described as a pioneer in both traditional automotive and new energy vehicles and previously held executive positions at Ford, Fiat Chrysler, and NIO.
In addition to his speech which comes soon after the networking breakfast, the event will also feature panels on commercializing deep tech, investment, and emerging technology trends, “The Future of Mobility, EVs, and Batteries,” a presentation from the Tennessee Valley Authority, and three rounds of short pitches from the members of Cohort 2 on the “Techstars Industries of the Future Accelerator.”
