Tickets, more details announced for upcoming “Maker City Summit” in Knoxville
Tickets are now on sale for the seventh annual “Maker City Summit” in Knoxville. Set to occur over three days starting September 16, the event features 31 different speakers including two partners who in a business who will jointly present.
The website describes it this way: “Two days of programming, two evening social events, t-shirt, swag, coffee and light pastries in the morning on Saturday and Sunday, lunch on Saturday and Sunday, optional headshot, access to expert one-on-ones in the weeks following the Summit event.”
The first day on Friday kicks-off with networking while Saturday and Sunday focus on small business needs. Keynoters are:
- Andy Pizza, an illustrator, podcaster and public speaker whose address is titled “Growth & the Creative Process” (his talk is Saturday); and
- Allie Mounce and Clare Freeman of Pretty Useful Company who will speak on “Selling Out (Finding Your Brand Without Losing Your Soul” (their talk is Sunday).
