BIO Alabama plans first in-person conference in six years next week
The global head of Johnson & Johnson Innovation, better known as Jlabs, will headline the first in-person conference in six years for members of Alabama’s bioscience industry.
Scheduled for next Monday and Tuesday at the Grand Bohemian Hotel Mountain Brook, the BIO Alabama gathering will feature a keynote address by Melinda Richter. Prior to joining Jlabs nearly nine years ago, she was Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Prescience International, a company Richter founded after she had a medical emergency that left her questioning the efficiency and efficacy of the healthcare system.
About 200 scientists are expected for the event under the theme of “Building Alabama’s Biohorizons.” For more information, visit the website.
