NNSA using 33 Emory University students to help with tech transfer efforts
The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), part of the U.S. Department of Energy, is drawing on 33 students at Emory University to help expand its technology transfer success.
As described in this news release, the effort is leveraging the Technological Innovation: Generating Economic Results (TI:GER) Program, a partnership between Emory and Georgia Institute of Technology. Under the arrangement, NNSA is outsourcing market research to the students to help the federal agency understand the viability of a potential product and the best applications for its use.
