UC Davis schedules next “National Labs Entrepreneurship Academy”
The “National Labs Entrepreneurship Academy” (NLEA) is a partnership of two national labs – Lawrence Livermore and Sandia – and the University of California, Davis that is designed to help drive innovation at the two labs.
Launched in 2015, the program returns November 1-4 in a virtual mode. Attendance is limited to researchers from the two labs and is capped at 60 for the 30 sessions scheduled over the four days. The Academy provides:
- An intensive opportunity for researchers to explore the market opportunities surrounding their ideas and research;
- Daily seminars and interactive sessions taught by leading investors, industry executives and entrepreneurs;
- The tools to communicate the broader potential of the research; and
- Evening mentoring sessions with industry executives and investors.
