Called the “Reverse Pitch MKE,” four corporations will present their business challenges to entrepreneurs and start-ups in search of the next great solution. The event at 1 p.m. October 27 will feature four companies pitching are:
- Northwestern Mutual which is seeking a way to support and guide the company’s financial representatives in use of social media platforms and applications;
- The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network that is seeking a solution to proactively engage with individuals and communities in a way that builds trust resulting in high rates of health literacy and an associated increase in engagement with, and access to, health services;
- Rockwell Automation which is seeking an automated way to identify in-field product and provide current Rockwell Automation product details, thereby improving customer support and experience; and
- West Bend Insurance of Wisconsin which has two needs: (1) a solution that could read a specific policy document and answer any coverage related questions related to that policy in natural language; and (2) a a solution that can analyze the risk (new business or a renewal) and recommend whether to order an inspection report for a specific account based on a set of variables.
The activity involves three steps: (1) attending the October 27 to determine if an individual or company has a solution; (2) submitting an interest statement, if so inclined, by November 17; and (3) submitting an application with the solution by December 31. Those selected will pitch in February.
