ARC’s annual conference to be virtual this year, set for October 6
Registration is now open for “Appalachia Envisioned,” a virtual conference co-hosted by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) and the Commonwealth of Virginia. The date is October 6.
Attendees will be the first to see ARC’s new strategic plan during a conversation with ARC Federal Co-Chair Gayle Manchin and States’ Co-Chair Governor Ralph Northam. This plan was developed from feedback garnered from more than 1,500 residents of the 13-state ARC region and will guide ARC’s 2022-2026 investments.
The “Appalachia Envisioned” conference will also feature stories and success strategies through three documentary-style videos and interactive sessionson recreation, entrepreneurship development, and leadership and community capacity.
