Debate underway on if and when to return to offices
You have no doubt at least given some thought to the question, “Do we need offices anymore?”
After all, many closed for at least a few months in the early weeks and months of the COVID-19 pandemic, and some remain closed. I noticed that Apple has announced that it expects employees to return to their offices for at least three days a week starting in early September, and there is a good deal of pushback on the plan.
No doubt similar discussions are occurring in many corporate offices as well as start-ups. People have enjoyed their flexibility.
Regardless of how you answer the question, Wil Schroter has just published this quick read that provides his take on three reasons that many think a return to an office is so important.
